My Daily Skin Care Routine

Skin care is a very important part of my daily routine, and I believe it is not just mine. Its sad that gone are those days when my skin didn't need as much pampering as it does now, for I am no longer in my teen years.
But skin care is something I am fond of and why shouldn't I be, for it is what makes me feel beautiful, smart and yet ready for another day!I stick with the basics, Cleansing, Toning and Moisturising, and have bits and bobs to add a few!

I start off my skin care routine with Clinique Liquid Facial Wash Mild 2 for Combination Skin. For me this face wash is perfect as it does what it says. Its mild and helps clean intensely. It is foamy and a little goes a long way.

I have currently been hooked to hot cloth cleanser and its from No7 to be precise. It is a massive bottle with a creamy cleanser that comes with a muslin cloth. The muslin cloth is around a size of a handkerchief and exfoliates well. However, I do not use this on a daily basis but around like 3-4 days in a week, depending on my work schedule. I prefer to use it while having shower because the steam from the shower helps to exfoliate even more!

I think that people give more importance to the cleansing and the moisturising bit of skin care yet not much to the toning part. But I think that toning is as important as the other two. I have been enjoying the Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 for quite sometime now and Oh dear it is wonderrrful! Just few drops on a cotton pad is enough to tone my face and do that extra bit of exfoliation to give a healthy glow to my skin! For anybody who is looking to add toners to their routine, I would definitely recommend this one!

Now time to talk about the most current love of my life, lol, my moisturiser and yes, if you have read my former blogs then you have guessed it right. It is the Origins Make A Difference+  Rejuvenating Moisturising Cream. That name is quite a handful but believe me it works wonders! I no longer have to deal with dry patches or flaky skin near my nose and mouth areas. Now I can happily apply my CC Creams without having to go through the trouble of applying layers and layers of thick moisturisers! I don't even know where to begin, I thinks its the sweet smell or must I say the scent that is just perfect or the texture that easily melts into the skin leaving it soft and supply. Everything is just so good about this moisturiser. The only thing is that they are a bit on the pricy range, but for such a good product, I would not mind spending a little more than usual!

Well these are the daily basic products that I use , but I must say that there are a few other products that I like to keep near by for that extra bit of pampering. Starting with the Origins Hydrating 10 minute mask that is just so hydrating that I love it to bits! I use this like once a week where I like to pamper myself. The smell is just marvellous and oh so perfect for spring/summer. It leaves the skin feeling cool and enriched with all the essentials for a hydrating skin. Jammed packed with apricot oil, this mask is deliciously perfect!

There are times however when my skin has those dull days and those annoying little spots come creeping in. But my little wand of the tube of Dead Sea Spa Magik Spot on Gel is there for the rescue. Though the smell can be a bit funny, it works wonders. I layer the tiny spots with this gel and straight away I can feel it working. I like to keep it safe and sound in my make up bag so that I am always ready to fight back the annoying spots!

Last but not the least I think Sudocream deserves an honourable position in my skin care routine. I think that one must always have an antiseptic cream in their drawers as they come in so handy. For me who suffers from skin rashes, this antiseptic creams is fabulous. So whether its small cuts and bruises or any of that sort, this cream is the one to have! I would also recommend this to anyone who have their tattoos done and go through the weeping phase, this definitely helps to calm the scaring and heal the tattoos better! Trust me, I've experienced it!

So that's my skin care routine..what's yours??
