The Colours of the Rainbow

Now let me begin by saying how much I love Rainbows! Whats there to not like right! I mean they appear after the rain, looks beautiful and the colours are just gorgeous.

So I have chosen some of my favourite beauty products that match with the colours of the rainbow and because this video was being tagged on YouTube I have done a video about it already which you might enjoy watching so do check it out since it has all the details about the products. Also the video includes two more colours which are pink and colourful so I have mentioned them as well

L'oreal New Nude Magique CC Cream- The Review

Now I have been using this product-L'Oreal New Nude Magique CC Cream for quite sometime. I would say enough for me to honestly review about it.

To begin with, I have only been using make-up products since only like 6 months on a regular basis. I have always been interested to buy lipsticks and blushes and eye make-up products but never had the much interest in Foundations.Mostly because my experiences with foundations had always been a bit off tune as I always found them to be a bit cakey and unsuitable to my taste.

However, when I was shopping in Boots, I bumped into the L'Oreal counter and was attracted to these their new CC Cream range. The funny thing was I had just read about them in a magazine the other day and sort of had an idea that they are made specially of Colour Control purposes.

I have always been curious about BB Creams but never tried one, so I directly jumped into the decision of rather buying a CC Cream because is was the newer 'IT' product. So I ended up picking the L'Oreal New Nude Magique CC Cream in Anti-Dullness which is the purple packaging one.

Coming home I did a bit more research on CC Creams and came to find out that its for better coverage, sun protection and treatment of uneven skin tones. This sounded pretty good so there was no stopping me.!

My first reactions of using it was why is it so purple, but I guess its the formula of the ingredients that makes it that colour. I used the Real Techniques Buffing Brush to really buff in the CC Cream, and as a result my skin tone was really even. With the Benefit Porefessional as a base/primer, adding this CC Cream made my skin look fresher, even, and gave a nice coverage without making me feel the cak-y-ness of a foundation.

The other good thing was it lasted for the whole day and didn't dry out my skin at all. It did not flake out neither became patchy. I was really happy that I bought this product and actually found my perfect alternative for foundations.

Now I feel like my make-up routine is complete and the credit definitely goes to the L'Oreal New Nude Magique CC Cream. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has bad experiences with foundations but still want a bit of coverage for the complete make-up look.

One is for sure though, I am now a huge fan of the L'Oreal New Nude Magique CC Cream and will surely be repurchasing it!!

My First Bottle of Bioderma!! Yippieeee!!

Finally I got hold of the highly acclaimed, Bioderma!! I know its been ages and this must be latest blog that is about Bioderma, but you know they say, better late than never, so finally I am a proud owner of Bioderma. Omg how long I have been waiting for this, only I can tell and that is like FOREVER.

I had seen so many people rave about it, yet never attempted to get it! I don't know why, maybe it was the fact that they are French products not easily accessible in the UK. However, they have been available online on Ebay and Amazon, for like so many different prices that it was quite confusing. Also being available in Crealine, Sensibio and other rang is quite confusing! At the end I came to find that Sensibio one is for sensitive skin, however the cleanser itself is suitable for all skin types.

Now that I have finally had the opportunity to use it , I will start by using the word Amazing!!!
Its just such a wonderful product that I don't even know why I waited so long to buy one! Its clear, water like and takes off make-up and cleans the skin so well. It is an ultra mild cleansing formula and prevents feeling of irritation! Now that I have been using quite a bit of make-up , a good cleanser was a must! Since the make-up removers I had been using left an oily feeling to my skin, Bioderma is totally different. It does not leave any greasy feeling yet cleans my waterproof mascara in just a good single swipe!! It guarantees excellent cutaneous and ocular tolerance, which is a major plus point :)

Now I was not going to France any soon so the next place to get is from was Ebay. The one I ordered  arrived right on time, making me a super happy girl! I got the 500 ml because I wanted it big! like to use forever lol. And also, now I have added it in my daily skin care routine because it make my skin so clean and soft. The only problem is that the things on the label are all mentioned in French that I have no idea about ! Only how I wish I had learnt French but gave up after "Comment ca va"?!!

One thing is for sure though , now I will not take time to pick up the next bottle after finishing this one , because it is just an amazing product! I just love it and for anybody looking for a good simple cleanser, this is just perfect! I have linked the seller below on Ebay if you guys are interested:

I think now he has re listed it again so I guess he is selling it quick! So don't forget to grab your's soon!

My Top 5 Lipsticks for Spring/Summer

If I were to choose my favourite make-up product then I would instantly say "Lipsticks". I love colours and I just love lipsticks. I think that even if you don't have any make up on then a dab of lipstick can change your appearance.

I really like to try all shades of colours, and if I could I would wear it all. But, as all shade don't suit me, its disappointing that I can't wear all of those lovely shades!

However, I have picked up Top 5 lipsticks which I think are really good for the Spring/Summer season. I have mixed both bright and neutrals that I would wear according to the occasion. It was quite hard to pick only 5 but I did it finally! Yeah.!!So here they are:

1. Maxfactor in Shocking Coral

This is the colour that I have been loving this month. It is a peachy pink colour that looks really pretty on the lips. It can be bright at first but it starts to fade out into a beautiful shade like more of a natural pink that matches my lip colour. Its amazinggggg!! I love it!!

2.Revlon Colorburst Lip butter in Candy Apple

This is a red with orange undertone or can be said even the other way round. It is sheer and glossy and glides on smoothly. Since this is from the Lip butter range it is very moisturising and glossy. Its a colour that would look wonderful in the sunny days when you have your prettiest dress on!! Can't wait to wear it this summer!!

3.Mac(Amplified) in Impassioned

I love Mac lipsticks, no matter if its red, pink or nudes. But for this season I am loving the shade Impassioned from the Amplified range. Its a hot pink, I could even categorize it as a neon pink. But it is absolutely a gorgeous colour for a night out and it will definitely make you stand out!!

4.Soap and Glory in Super Nude

This is a very matt nude lipstick from Soap and Glory that I wear when I want a more neutral or laid back look. Its quite creamy and stays on for a long time. However, you have to have a very moisturised lips and keep a lip balm handy whenever you use this one.

5.The Body Shop Colour guide Lip Colour in shade 07 Rose Pink

This is a perfect nude for me.I am so glad that I found it in The Body Shop. Its the shade 07 Rose Pink. This lipstick is browny nude that is a bit glossy. It is very moisturising and stays on the whole day. Its a lip colour that you can just wear whenever you want, and specially for the rush hour when you don't know which shade to wear, this is just perfect!!

So, this is my Top 5 Lipsticks for Spring/Summer. Now I will just have to wait for the actual Spring to start. So fingers crossed hope it will be soon!!!

Clinique -Bonus Time

I consider myself a shoppoholic but my main buying items are clothes. I just love shopping for all types of clothing items. But since I have bumped into these awesome beauty haul videos and beauty experts on YouTube I have been regretting how much I have been missing from the beauty world.

So for a start I wanted to try products that have been out in the market but duh!! I haven't used them yet! And the best way I thought was to hunt down for offers and honestly, who can resist them right?!!

I never wear make-up though occasionally I wear it when I'm  filming my haul or other videos. However I am a seriously amateur make up person because I have not had much dedication into these beauty products. But now I am just super tempted to buy all the beauty stuff in the market because honestly, I think its time.. I'm 24 by the way!

So as I was mentioning about offers, being a loyal Metro reader on the tube, I came up to the add of Clinique Bonus Time in Boots where free samples were being given away with the purchase of any two items and one having to be from the skin care section.

There was my very chance to try these products, because using samples are a best way to find what's best for you right!
So I made sure not to miss this opportunity and bought a Clinique Clarifying Lotion 2 -Dry/Combination Skin and a Quick liner for eyes in black/brown. Taadaa...I was eligible for the bonus time free samples.
I received a pretty wash bag with watermelons( I think) as the print. It feels waterproof and big enough to hold lots of make up items. Inside was an Quick Liner for eyes intense black (eye-liner), Chubby stick moisturising lip colour balm, Moisture surge extended thirst relief (moisturiser), All about eyes(under eye cream),High impact mascara and Rinse off foaming cleanser.

I used the Clinique Clarifying lotion and OMG, it is amazzinnggg..!!. The amount of dirt that it sweeped from my face was just incredible, leaving my skin feeling fresh and soft. The quick liner is also a gorgeous shade as it is not intensely black nor totally brown, so I am quite pleased with what I purchased.

Regarding the sample items, the under eye cream is the best among all. There is an instant feeling of my under eye skin being plumped and firmed. The moisturising cream is very good when used with the clarifying lotion as well. The clarifying lotions come according to skin types so make sure you get the right one! I haven't used the mascara yet but I have heard a lot of good reviews on it so cant wait to try it on! And regarding the chubby stick lip colour balm in colour whooping watermelon, its very sheer but highly moisturising. The colour is pretty but light pink so needs lots of coating if you want more intense colour. However I did not like the black eye liner (sample) at all, Firstly it was impossible to twist the liner to put it on, Secondly ,in one go the tip just went blunt! Quite annoying but I hope the one I purchased is not like this!!

So overall I am happy with these Clinique products, its a good way to try them out and also to know what suits you the most. For me I will surely be getting more of the Clarifying Lotion, Under eye cream and Chubby Stick Lip Colour Balm...I just love them!!

I think the bonus time is still valid till 23rd March in Boots so hurry up guys don't miss out!! Here is a link to find out more about this offer:
