My Monthly Favourites | May

I cant believe that the month of May just flew by! Omg time is something that never waits for anyone! So end of the month means....time to write down about my favourite products for May.

Beginning with Bioderma.. Now what can I say more about this wonderful product..it is so good that I had a previous blog post just about it! Its is so water like and so light that it is not harsh at all. It does not feel like Omg I am using so much of product on my face to remove my make up, because it is not oily at all like other make up removing products. Since I don't wear make up everyday, I still do use it in like daily basis like one a day to cleanse my face before applying the toner. It is definitely worth the hype and I love it!!

Bourjois Bronzing powder has been a massive hit among all beauty gurus and make up lovers...Its just that I never had the courage to pick one up and try! You see the thing with Asians..well I believe, we prefer to stay away from tanning, bronzing and spending hours under the sun! I don't know if its for everybody but it sure is for me! However living in London for more than 2 years has made me pale enough to think that maybe...a bronzer would help me get a healthy glow...and this bronzing powder exactly does that!

Now I have always hated the idea of using dry shampoos. I just couldn't deal with the fact that why not just get a shower rather than spend time using dry shampoos! But since I have had a fringe a dry shampoo has been necessity. Firstly I cannot wash my hair everyday as it is so thin and I do have quite a hair fall problem. and since getting genetically super fine hair, the fringe gets limp so fast. So the Batiste Dry Shampoo has become my friend in need! This does the trick! I get instant refreshed hair though I do get some white bits first most probably because I have dark hair, but which can be easily blended. The smell is also quite refreshing however, its starts smelling like coconut oil later on which I am not much fan of!

Now believe it or not but this is my first make up product from TOPSHOP. It is the Topshop Glow, which is a bronzy golden highlighter. It is very creamy and comes in a tiny glass pot. It is very pigmented and thus a little is enough to highlight parts of the face like cheek bones, nose area or under the eyebrows. I got it in the shade Polished, but I do think that they have it in another shade as well!

Where do I even begin with Lush's Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter ! Omg this product is soooooooo good! When I went to Lush asking for a hand cream, I ended up not liking any of their hand cream products until this one grabbed my attention! Though it says cuticle, I use it for my hands ad even my lips! As the name suggests it is so citrus-y that I just love it! Honestly if you are a fan of the Soap & Glory lime body wash then you can imagine this as the solid cream! Its is just fabulous! Its think and leaves my hands feeling soft and nourished!!

The compact powder from Body Shop has been so useful all this month because as the temperature is rising this is just perfect to hide away all the oily bits on my face! I really like the packaging and it really blends well! I carry it all the time and when I dont have any makeup on, I just dab this on and  I am good to go! I have it in the shade 06.

Now who does not like fruity, citrus-y smells right! In summer they are just perfect! Now Body Shop's Body Mists are to die for! They are so good that I always have to have one in my handbag, especially the Strawberry one, and if you are not fan of strawberries then there is always another option for you...! They come in different flavours/ scents and a little spritz is enough to refresh your senses and give you the perfect scent for summer!

I know that everybody loves Primark, including me, and why wouldn't we right! They have things that one can buy so cheap and still use it in everyday routine! Like for me, their headband is just perfect to protect my fringe from getting wet or to avoid any creams and make up! Its is like I think £1.50-£3.00, which is like next to nothing! Its from their Love to Lounge section! It is so useful, big and chunky enough to hold my hair. Its pink as well... which  I think every girl needs to have one!

Have I told you guys that I love love love lipsticks?? Well if I haven't then let me tell it one more time..I love lipsticks! And this month its Revlon's Fire and Ice! The name it self suggest some sultry gorgeous red right! Well it is! This one however is an orange or yellow tone based which I believe suits more like brown skin tones like mine! But if you are looking to try some red lipstick then do give this one a try since its rich pigmented and very moisturising!

Last but not the least how can I not mention my favourite moisturiser from Origins. If you don't know it yet then let me tell you that it is the Origins Make a Difference+ Rejuvenating Moisturiser. This just absolutely fabulous. I have done a previous blog post on it but I will day it again this is the best moisturiser ever and I just love it. It is so hydrating that I don't have any dry patches any more and the smell...its just brilliant. Its light and smells like peaches and fruits that just brings a big smile on my face!

I just enjoys using all the products mentioned above and I have tried my best to give my honest opinion about them. I do highly recommend each one of them and I hope you guys give them a try as well!

Well what are you favourites for May??

My March Favorites

Hello, I hope you guys enjoyed my March Favorites video. This is just a basic blog about them. Since my camera was not able to focus onto the products in detail, I have posted the pictures here.

My March Favourite Products!<3

Starting with the Clinique Clarifying Lotion, in my case its the number 2 for combination skin, its such a nice toner. I use it every morning and night before applying my moisturiser and it surely helps me to get rid off all the dirt from my face! I would really recommend it as it leaves my skin feeling fresh, clean and gives a glow to my face!

I will have to admit that I do enjoy the fresh feeling after washing my face every time, thanks to the Tea Tree Skin Clearing Face Wash from The Body Shop. Since it has tea tree formulation, it leaves my skin feeling tingly and plumps up my skin!

To add to feeling fresh and waking up my skin...I am loving the Garnier Moisture Match Revitalising Hydrating Gel. These are available in different types for different purposes but I love this one among them all. Since its a gel formulation it is way lighter and makes my skin feel soft and supple.

How can  I not mention the Tangle Teezer Hairbrush for this month's favorites. Its become my magic wand and I use it all the time. Though a bit pricey or a small hairbrush, its a very powerful device and a must have!!!

John Frieda Luxurious Thickening Blow Dry Lotion is another of my favorites this month and I think I will be repurchasing this item when it finishes. Having a limp hair does not allow me to style much, so every time I blow dry my hair, it not just protects my hair from the heat but also gives volume to my hair.

Since the weather in the UK is cold and windy,it means more dry and chapped lips, well definitely in my case. I have tried on so many lip balms but none have worked as amazingly as the Burt's Bees Lip balm. It makes my lips soft and leaves a tingly sensation, which means it definitely helping smoothen my lips.

If you ever get a cold sore then I would recommend the Boots Lip and Cold Sore Relief Cream. Nobody likes a cold sore and for it to go away takes such a long time. I think that this antiseptic creams is really nice and helps get rid of it fast. Also I still use it on my lips at night to moisturise my lips.

This is a product that I have seen been raved in like every video that I have ever watched. its the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and I have it in the shade Medium 3. Its really a very good concealer and does hide all dark patches and spots. Bit dark on my skin so I'm planning to get the lighter shade as well .But it really is a good concealer.

Since I am beginning to use make up products I am really liking the L'O'real Nude Magique BB Blush. Its gives a natural rosy pink glow and makes the skin look healthy and nice. It is in a universal colour and I believe it suits every skin colour or type. Also its a BB blush so it very smooth on the skin and a little pea size is enough for the glowy effect.

I love lipsticks and if anybody ever asks me what's my favourite make up , I will surely say LIPSTICKS. At the moment I love the Rimmel London Apocolyps Lip Lacquer in the shade Apocoliptic. Its a bright Fuchsia pink that just says it all! Its such a gorgeous colour. I would definitely suggest it for a night out but if you want it for a day wear then a single coat is just enough!

After lipsticks I love nail polishes. I find them like a type of accessories that adds up to your look. Though i never have long nails, I love to apply nail polishes. I am addicted to Barry M nail polishes as they last so long and are available in so many shade. Just under £3.00, its such a nice nail polish. At the moment i am rocking the shades Raspberry with a coat of Pink Sapphire Glitter on the top.

Also to protect my nail polishes from chipping I am loving the Sally Hansen Double Duty Top and Base Coat. It makes such a massive difference on the polishes as it helps them glide smoothly and save from chipping.

If you are into make-up then you definitely need make up wipes. No 7 Beautiful Skin Quick Thinking Wipes are just the answer to it. There are 30 wipes in the packet and the best time to buy them would be when you get the £5.00 voucher in boots(drug store). Its makes it lot more cheaper. Its really good to take the make up off and as it says even waterproof mascara are easily taken off.

Now, as a make-up beginner, I needed brushes for various purposes like for applying blushes, primer, concealer. I am so glad that I got the Real Techniques Core Collection Brush Set. Its got the buffing, concealer, blush and defining brush. Its made of the synthetic taklon making it soft, and the best thing about them is they are cruelty free brushes.

Last but not the least my most favourite item pick of the month is the Benefit Porefessional Primer. This products is really good and does what it says. It blocks all the visible pores which gives the skin a fine finish. A little dab is enough for the nose area and the cheeks as those are the places where my pores are mostly visible. I don't even have to use a foundation over it because it makes my skin look matt and perfect. A little hint on blush on top of it, and I'm good to go!
